Anti-Kidnapping American Consultant Kidnapped in Mexico

Lourdes Batista, wife of kidnapped American security expert Felix Batista broke her month long silence yesterday by pleading with the Mexican abductors in a press conference to release her husband. 55 year-old Felix Batista was visiting Mexico to participate in a seminar on Kidnappings. In this seminar, he talked about how to avoid kidnapping situations and the intentions behind the kidnappings. It was ironical that he became a victim of the abductors on December 10th. While he was having lunch with his friends in a restaurant in Mexico, he received a call and took excuse from his friends. Images taken by the security camera shows that he voluntarily sat in a car but was not seen after that.

There has been no news about Mr. Batista for about a month, which is very concerning to his family and FBI. Kidnapping patterns reveal that in Mexico, if anyone is kidnapped, the kidnappers contact the families immediately for a ransom amount. In this case the family has not received any such call. Kidnapped anti-kidnapping American expert's family is requesting the abductors for setting him free, as he has never harmed any one.
